Job Summary
We are seeking a Full Time Dental Hygienist to join our team at Heartland Dental. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be an integral member of the patient care team, providing exceptional lifetime care to your patients.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalized patient care, giving your patients the time and care they need, deserve, and desire.
- Conduct dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning teeth, examining gums, and providing patient education.
- Collaborate with doctors to develop treatment plans and implement preventative care measures.
- Maintain accurate medical records and communicate effectively with patients and doctors.
Requirements
- CURRENT DENTAL HYGIENIST LICENSE IN MI AND AN ASSOCIATES OR BACHELORS DEGREE IN DENTAL HYGIENE (WHERE REQUIRED)
- EXCELLENT WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF DENTISTRY, DENTAL HYGIENE PROCEDURES, DENTAL PATIENT SCREENING, AND MEDICAL HISTORY DOCUMENTATION
- CPR CERTIFICATION
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing.
- Lifting and carrying up to 45 pounds at times.
