Practice Transition Support Representative, Affiliations
Our practice transition support team is an essential liaison team that works closely with internal departments, external representatives, and the doctor(s) that are interested in affiliating with Heartland Dental. As a Practice Transition Support Representative, you’ll take an active role in strategy meetings, partnering with internal stakeholders during meetings to ensure deals are moving forward, holding accountability to documents that are needed. Additionally, this individual is responsible for gathering important documents from the doctor, dispersing them to the appropriate departments that need them to complete the affiliation.
We’re looking for an individual who is sharp, detail oriented, quick to build rapport, a strong listener, objective and able to deal with the pressures of a high output team. To give you an idea of the team structure, you will work on a team that will support the field reps in regard to the affiliation process of new practices, reporting to the Practice Transition Support Supervisor.
With more than 1,000 dental offices supported across 37 states, over 10,000 team members and over 1,600 supported doctors in our support, Heartland Dental has a proven track record of growth and success. Below is an overview of the duties and responsibilities associated with this position:
- Work from our Support Office in Effingham, IL
- Develop rapport with doctors and key team member in the prospective dental office
- Partner with internal departments as the affiliations progress to ensure than an affiliate doctor has a smooth transition
- Manage multiple affiliation projects at one time while adhering to deadlines
- Build and maintain Heartland Dental’s organized database of prospective dentists
- Project a professional and friendly image that aligns with our core values in representing Heartland Dental to dentists and the dental community
- Work to continually develop technical, competitive and sales skills knowledge to remain competitive and relevant in our market space.
- Assist Affiliation Department with a wide variety of diligence gathering matters relating to upcoming affiliation
Minimum Requirements:
Must be in the office 2 to 3 days a week.
Associate’s degree with at least two years of sales experience OR Bachelor’s degree with one year of sales experience OR commensurate experience in this area
- Practical knowledge of sales concepts.
- Project management related skills
- Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to answer telephone calls and communicate information to callers.
- Ability to interact with co-workers in a collegial manner to accomplish common tasks.
- High level of maturity, personal initiative and sound judgment.
- Ability to travel overnight couple times a year.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Dental related experience
- Experience in with Microsoft CRM, Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience with accounts receivables, diligence gather
