What are the responsibilities and job description for the NW APP Lead position at Heartland Dermatology?
Primary Function : To ensure that the highest quality of clinical practice, judgment and medical integrity are upheld, implemented and enforced among the APP staff of the assigned branch of Heartland Dermatology.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Act as the APP liaison to the CEO regarding all medical oversight issues, provider quality care and other APP issues.
- Advise, encourage and educate APPs to improve quality and appropriateness of care.
- Give regular feedback to APPs.
- Coordinate activities with other APPs and management.
- Assist CEO in recruiting and orienting new providers.
- Oversee and direct APP's clinic activities and their schedules.
- Oversee APP mentoring. May also serve as a mentor / coach as appropriate.
- Together with CEO, facilitate effective communication between APPs, staff and management.
- Act as a champion of positive changes at the clinic.
- Foster and model the behaviors that reflect and support the desired group culture for the organization. Constructively offer feedback to others in area of responsibility when there is incongruence with behaviors and our desired culture.
