POSITION:
Call-in / Preschool Classroom Substitute

LOCATION:
Ellsworth Head Start
Ellsworth, Kansas

TERM:

• Call-in / As Needed; Flexible
• Between the hours of 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• During the school-year (August through May)

STARTING PAY:

• $16.34/hr (High School Diploma, no experience required)
• $17.36/hr (Must have CDA credential)
• $18.41/hr (Must have an AA Degree in Early Childhood Education)
• Additional Benefits: Pay increases and a $500 incentive upon obtaining CDA.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Experience working in a preschool or childcare setting is preferred
• Passion for working with young children is essential!

DUTIES:As a Call-In/Preschool Classroom Substitute, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and developmental needs of young children. Your responsibilities will include following the directives of the classroom staff while:

• Assisting children with daily activities
• Providing direction and guidance to foster a positive learning environment
• Supporting teachers in facilitating age-appropriate educational activities and ensuring a safe, nurturing space for children to grow and learn.
