POSITION:
Early Education Classroom Engagement Support (aka Preschool Teacher Assistant)
LOCATION:
Ellsworth Head Start
Ellsworth, Kansas
TERM:
40hrs/week
School Year position (183 work days plus 5 holidays)
7:30a - 4:00p (with a 30 minute lunch break)
PAY STARTING AT:
$16.34/hr (require: high school diploma/no experience)
$17.36/hr (must have CDA credential)
$18.69/hr (must have AA Degree in Early Childhood)
Pay increase AND $500 pay incentive after obtaining CDA.
REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
CDA (Child Development Associate) credential or a related degree required. Must obtain the CDA during employment, therefore we will train the right person! Experience working in a preschool classroom and/or childcare center is preferred, but most of all you must enjoy working with young children!
DUTIES:
Duties include assisting young children with various activities and providing direction and guidance in a learning-based environment.
