Position Overview
We are seeking a mid to Senior level Wetland Delineation and Regulatory Specialist to join our team full-time (40
hours per week). Applicants for this role are required to demonstrate the ability to lead wetland delineations
independently with knowledge of the local, state, and federal wetland regulatory process.
This role offers opportunities to engage in a variety of tasks, including:
- Wetland delineation and assessment
- Strategic regulatory planning and permitting
- Wetland mitigation bank design and assessment
- Ecological restoration planning and site monitoring
- Wildlife habitat and botanical surveys
- Environmental compliance observations
Qualifications
- Degree in biology, ecology, natural resources, or related field
- Minimum 5 years professional experience completing wetland delineations
- Professional Wetland Assurance Certification is desirable, although not required
- Proficient in native and nonnative plant identification
- Field-ready: adaptable to remote, diverse field conditions
- Strong communication and technical writing skills
- Valid driver’s license; ability to walk up to five miles and lift up to 50 lbs
