We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Medical Scribe to join our healthcare team. The Medical Scribe plays a crucial role in documenting patient encounters in real-time, allowing healthcare providers to focus on delivering high-quality care. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, as well as proficiency in transcribing medical documentation accurately and efficiently.
Duties
- Accurately transcribe physician-patient interactions during examinations and consultations.
- Document medical histories, physical exams, and treatment plans in the electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Assist healthcare providers by ensuring all relevant information is captured for medical records.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations regarding patient information.
- Collaborate with the medical team to ensure seamless communication and documentation processes.
- Stay updated on medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology to enhance documentation accuracy.
