- Job Summary:
This is a professional position responsible for providing support to the adoption staff and case management organizations to ensure a child’s timely navigation through the dependency system.
- Essential Functions:
- Establishes and maintains positive working relationship with HFC internal and external customers
- Provide technical assistance necessary to case management organizations to ensure a child’s timely navigation through the dependency system
- Provide ongoing support to adoption staff as needed
- Assist and/or participates in recruitment and retention activities including promoting local children available for adoption in the community
- Assists in meeting or exceeding HFC’s annual adoption goals for matched and unmatched children
- Assists in the development and maintenance of tracking systems
- Assist with creating content and collateral materials that helps promote sharing child specific information about children available for adoption
- Assist with maintaining the statewide adoption websites ensuring children available for adoption are displayed and identifying and moving forward with a possible adoption match timely
- Participates in statewide adoption related training and campaign initiatives
- Assists with maintaining and updating recruitment displays and the Heart Gallery
- Performs special projects as assigned
- Qualifications Required:
Bachelors degree in Social Work or related field.
- Qualifications Preferred:
Experience working with adoptive or foster families preferred. Child welfare experience preferred.
