Pay: The starting hourly wage for the Overnight Youth Counselor position is: $18.36 plus a shift differential of $1.50 for hours worked during the Awake Overnight hours of 10:30pm-8:30am
Summary: The Overnight Youth Counselor is a full time position that will ensure the safety and supervision of the residents during sleeping hours and early morning. Give support to the day shifts by completing various documentation and tasks.
Direct Service:
- Responsible to perform random checks on residents within a 25 minute time frame and also perform building security checks.
- Responsible to complete tasks, paperwork and documentation as assigned including but not limited to, resident check documentation, grading, updating grade sheets, logging, counting of money bags, packing medications, resident clothing inventory..
- Responsible to complete light cleaning such as laundry and sanitizing showers.
- Responsible to complete any next day food preparation as assigned
- Responsible to work with morning staff to complete resident’s morning routines including, waking residents, supervising breakfast, dispensing of medications, house/barn chores, and preparations for school.
