Position Description:
Heartland Health Center is adding a clinical support RN to our growing team. The Clinical Support RN will provide professional nursing care for clinic patients by following established standards and practices. The RN will assist the Provider with all aspects of patient care within the scope of their license including the following responsibilities:
- Planning and managing patient care according to each patient’s needs
- Interviewing patients and recording their medical history
- Obtaining patient vital signs and escorting patients to their rooms
- Administering injections of medications
- Verifying that patient charts are updated promptly and accurately
- Observing and recording patients’ conditions and reactions to medications and treatments
Qualifications:
- License or Certification with one of the following: Registered Nurse
- Computer literate in electronic mail, word processing, office management system software, and the Electronic Health Record System
