Position Description: Summer Elementary Camp Teacher
Supervised by: Head of School
Qualifications
A. Minimum Requirements:
- Experience working with children in this age range, inherent respect towards children, enjoy being outdoors.
B. Preferred:
- Previous experience in an elementary school
- Experience working in childcare
- Excellent family relationships
- Excellent co-worker and employee relationships
- Works at a high standard of excellence as a teacher and employee
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
− Lead the Heartland Montessori Elementary Summer Camp Program
- Work (with support) to create an engaging weekly curriculum
JOB TYPE
− This is a 3-month, full-time SUMMER position.
− 8-hour shift, Monday-Friday
