Overview :
We invite you to become a part of our team as a Volunteer Engagement Coordinator . In this vital role, you will engage and represent our volunteers while advocating for their vital contributions. You will identify volunteer needs, recruit new volunteers, and match them with patients and families in need of support.
About You :
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or four years of related experience
- Healthcare / hospice or volunteer administration experience preferred
- Previous volunteer experience preferred
- Proficient in using basic office equipment including computer, fax machine, copier, and cell phone
- Ability to understand the special needs of hospice patients and their families
- Sensitivity to issues of life and death faced by individuals with terminal illnesses
- CPR Certification required
- Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
