The ideal candidate is flexible, a team player with good computer skills, and must be willing to travel a large area. The QP's purpose is training, supervision and evaluation of PCAs and the services they deliver, as well as to evaluate the effectiveness of PCAs.
Duties:
- Travel to clients' homes
- Travel to different office locations
- Supervise, train, orientate, and evaluate PCAs
- Develop care plans
- Maintain open communication between clients, staff, and case managers
- Evaluate the effectiveness of PCA services
Requirements & Qualifications:
- REGISTERED NURSE (RN) or LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN)
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be willing to oversee a team and travel throughout the region
- Have demonstrated ability to work with little direct supervision and make appropriate judgments
- Have demonstrated dependability, tact and ability to follow orders
- Possess good interpersonal communication skills
- Possess, and maintain good physical and mental health
- Must not have jeopardized health and welfare of vulnerable adults through physical abuse, sexual abuse or neglect
- Be able to pass a state and FBI background check
- Valid driver's license and proof of vehicle liability insurance
