Bi-Lingual Concrete Foreman

Job Summary
The Foreman will be responsible for enabling the completion of jobs in a timely manner by scheduling and overseeing the work crew, ensuring equipment and materials are enough, repairing and maintaining equipment, training crews and assisting with special projects such as design concrete. This position will also be responsible for placing and finishing concrete slabs using a variety of tools and equipment; read blueprints and survey stakes to obtain direction and elevations of slabs and finished surface up to company standards.

Duties

• Assist in the preparation of concrete mixes according to project specifications.
• Pour, spread, and finish concrete using various tools and techniques.
• Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment on the construction site.
• Monitor quality control measures throughout the concrete application process.
• Utilize construction management software such as Prolog and Bluebeam for project tracking.
• Participate in project scheduling and planning activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Concrete Laborer or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong understanding of contract requirements and project scheduling techniques.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings effectively.
• Knowledge of quality control practices in construction.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on safety protocols on construction sites.
• Willingness to learn new skills related to pipeline work and other construction processes.
