POSITION TITLE : Lead Automotive Technician
REPORTS TO : Service Manager
DEPARTMENT : Service
POSITION SUMMARY : Assists in directing junior technicians and functions as a skilled-level technician who is able to inspect, diagnose and perform basic automotive repairs and preventive services.
Annual Salary $80,000 to $100,000 plus / No nights or Weekends
Essential Job Functions :
- Provides helpful, friendly and respectful customer service with a We Can Do That
- attitude.
- Inspects, diagnoses, and repairs basic systems including brakes, alignments, suspension,
- an cooling systems.
- Leads and mentors junior technicians to assist in their growth and development.
- Changes oil and / or transmission fluid and filters.
- Install and perform tire maintenance.
- Road test vehicles.
- Helps increase sales, improve store profitability and reduces controllable expenses.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
