Automotive Repair Technician

Job Responsibilities

1. Providing customer service that meets or exceeds expectations.
2. Inspecting, diagnosing, and identifying repairs in automotive systems, including brakes, alignments, suspension, and cooling systems.
3. Diagnosing, repairing, and assessing engines.
4. Changing oil and/or transmission fluid and filters.
5. Installing and performing tire maintenance.
6. Performing road tests on vehicles.
7. Assisting in increasing sales, improving store profitability, and reducing controllable expenses.
8. Leading and mentoring junior technicians.
9. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
10. Recommending tires, parts, and services to the Service Manager.
11. Working in a fast-paced, results-oriented team environment.

Requirements

1. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
2. Ability to perform continued standing, bending, crouching, twisting, and crawling.
3. ASE certifications and/or technical school degree are preferred but not required.
