More about the Role
A successful candidate for the position will be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task in a faced paced environment, communicate effectively and professionally with team members, provide compassionate customer service, demonstrate proficient computer use and able to work 4, 10-hour shifts (often 8:00 am - 6:00pm), Monday - Friday. No Weekends!
Compensation will be based on your experience.

Essential Responsibilities
Technician job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assisting doctors in exam rooms
- Patient restraint IV catheter placement
- Medication and vaccine administration
- Radiology
- Preparing and reading in-house lab samples such as fecals and urinalysis
- Presenting treatment plans to clients
- Educating clients on take home medication administration, preventative care and flea/heartworm medications
- Any other duties as assigned.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Must be able to work 4, 10-hour shifts (often 8:00 am - 6:00pm)
- Previous veterinary experience preferred
- Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds; ability to lift patients or carry equipment over 25 pounds with assistance
- Practice OSHA safety techniques including proper PPE
- Basic math and the ability to calculate medication dosages
- Basic computer skills, familiarity with MS office applications, etc.
- Strong communication skills to ensure patient safety
