Position Summary :
We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Advanced Industrial Systems Architect to join our team. This individual will complement our skilled team of traditional controls engineers by leading efforts in advanced user interfaces, data communications, cybersecurity, and cloud architecture. The ideal candidate bridges the gap between traditional operational technology (OT) environments—such as PLCs and industrial control systems—and cutting-edge technologies, leveraging data, analytics, and visualization to take our operations to the next level.
Position Responsibilities :
- Lead the development of advanced user interfaces, dashboards, and visualizations for industrial systems.
- Design and implement secure, scalable cloud architectures for industrial data.
- Develop and manage APIs and communications between OT systems, databases, and cloud platforms.
- Utilize Python scripting, machine learning, and AI to create innovative solutions for industrial automation and analytics.
- Work with SQL databases and historians to store, query, and analyze industrial data.
- Collaborate with the controls engineering team to integrate traditional OT environments with advanced technologies.
- Ensure cybersecurity best practices across all industrial systems and cloud interfaces.
- Train and mentor team members on new tools, technologies, and best practices.
Skillset Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
