The Operations Manager is a critical role within Heartland’s Operations team. Ideal candidate will be based on the US East Coast ; FL preferred.
Position Responsibilities :
- Providing hands on support during start-up, commissioning and operations of the company’s wastewater treatment systems in close coordination with the company’s engineers (who are responsible for designing, building and deploying the systems) and customers.
- Using tools and equipment to ensure the efficient and continual functioning of all the mechanical equipment.
- Troubleshooting, making repairs, adjustments / calibrations relating to all aspects of various mechanical and electrical systems of Heartland’s equipment. Responding promptly and professionally to calls from customers; escalating issues where appropriate to supervisors
- Supporting efforts to factory test equipment and train customers’ personnel.
- Conducting preventative maintenance activities for the mechanical components of equipment (e.g., periodic deep cleaning).
- Participating on demonstration projects at customer sites.
- Circling back to the engineering team so they can factor operational issues into subsequent designs.
- Conducting safety inspections of all major pieces of equipment.
