About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Funeral Director to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for guiding families through the funeral planning process, ensuring seamless operations, and maintaining compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Your Key Responsibilities
• Provide exceptional compassionate service to families, guiding them through funeral arrangements and final wishes
• Coordinate and direct funeral services, celebrations, visitations, memorials, and burials
• Handle legal and administrative tasks, including filing death certificates, obtaining permits, and coordinating with clergy, cemeteries, and other service providers
• Ensure proper care of the deceased, including transportation and embalming (if applicable)
• Offer grief support and ongoing assistance to families before, during, and after services
Your Qualifications
Licensed Funeral Director in Utah (or ability to obtain licensure)
Experience in funeral directing and arranging services preferred
Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations
Proficiency in funeral service software, Microsoft Office, and general administrative tasks
