What are the responsibilities and job description for the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) position at Heartwise Support?
Heartwise Support is looking for a passionate BCBA to join our team bringing a collaborative treatment approach to those with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Our BCBAs work in coordination with other therapists to bring a holistic treatment to each individual. Heartwise Support focuses on the whole child and the whole family, providing comprehensive treatment to best support the families and children with ASD. We are looking for a BCBA who shares our vision and wants to help change how we provide treatment for those with ASD.
We are expanding to Utah and are currently seeking part-time and full time BCBAs.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct behavioral assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients with autism and other developmental disabilities.
- Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions and strategies to address challenging behaviors and promote skill development.
- Provide direct services to the clients and their families.
- Supervise in-progress ABA services.
- Ability to provide, assess, interpret, and communicate age-specific data in response to treatment
- Provides training and supervision of Behavior Technicians.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for clients.
- Monitor and evaluate client progress through data collection and analysis.
- Provide training and support to parents, caregivers, and other professionals involved in the client's care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in psychology, special education, or related fields.
- Current BCBA certification
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
- Access to reliable transportation.
- Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities.
- Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation tools and procedures.
- Proficient in behavioral therapy techniques
- Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to inform treatment decisions.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Strong interpersonal and writing skills.
- Ability to work well with others and be an effective part of a treatment team.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $80.00 - $85.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
