Duties
- Assist residents with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration.
- Provide companionship and engage residents in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while maintaining confidentiality of resident information.
- Support residents in home community care settings, including memory care and dementia care environments.
- Advocate for resident rights and ensure their preferences are respected in all aspects of care.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for all residents.
Requirements
- Previous experience in assisted living or caregiving is preferred.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Ability to prepare meals and assist with dietary needs.
- Understanding of resident rights and the importance of dignity in caregiving.
- Experience in memory care or dementia care is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
