Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Gynecologist at a Medical Center located in Queens, NY. The Gynecologist will be responsible for conducting obstetric care, and performing general gynecology procedures on a day-to-day basis.
Qualifications
- Medicine, Gynecologic Surgery, Gynecology, and Obstetrics skills
- Experience in surgical procedures related to gynecology
- Strong understanding of obstetric care and gynecologic treatments
- Ability to perform surgeries and procedures with precision and care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Active medical license in New York
EXPERIENCE
- Experience working in a healthcare setting
- A medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required.
- Proven experience in performing surgical procedures related to the field is preferred.
- Familiarity with gastric lavage techniques may be beneficial.
- 5 yrs of experience working in a collaborative healthcare environment with a focus on patient-centered care is essential.
- Excellent communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with patients and healthcare team members.
Duties
- Conduct thorough examinations and assessments of patients to diagnose and treat various obstetric and gynecological conditions.
- Perform surgical procedures as necessary, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques.
- Manage prenatal care, including monitoring fetal development and addressing any complications that may arise during pregnancy.
- Provide education and counseling to patients regarding reproductive health, family planning, and preventive care.
- Collaborate with specialists in fields such as Nephrology, Bariatrics, Ophthalmology, and others as needed for comprehensive patient management.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and stay updated with the latest advancements in obstetrics and gynecology practices.
