We are hiring a Bookkeeper/Office Manager
30hrs/week, $22/hr, On-Site
Heartwood Soundstage is a busy concert venue in downtown Gainesville, Florida offering live performances, professional recordings, and rentals. The position of Bookkeeper/Office Manager will take care of the day to day operations and cash flow of the business. We are seeking an extremely organized and efficient person proficient in:
- Quickbooks
- Excel
- Square
Must be comfortable learning new programs & flexible working in a fast-paced creative environment.
Daily responsibilities include: manage payables and receivables, make cash deposits at bank, run bi-weekly payroll, ensure compliance with local and state regulations, create profit and loss reports for every event, enter HR forms, order office supplies, manage phone systems, organize business emails.
Monthly responsibilities include: reconcile bank accounts, credit card accounts, Quickbooks, ticket sales, and bar sales. Calculate and pay sales tax. Categorize all income and expenses in Quickbooks. Provide owners with P&L reports, balance sheets, and current cash flow.
