What are the responsibilities and job description for the Babysitter/Nanny position at Heartwood Yoga?
Summertime gig! Babysitter/nanny wanted for two children, aged 4 and 8. Approximate hours are 9am-3pm M-F. We are a waldorf family which means we do not use TV, video games, or phones as entertainment.
About you: Clean driving record, experience working with children, non-smoker all a must. Punctual, reliable, trustworthy, engaging. We are looking for someone who can establish a rhythm for the children that creates a loosely structured summer with flexibility. Example: Mondays - library, Tuesdays - hike, Wednesdays - beach, Thursdays - craft, Fridays - swim. Responsibilities include making lunch and two snacks, cleaning up from the day. The children can help with all tasks and are encouraged to be involved!
This job begins in June of 2025 and will go through August of 2025, exact dates given upon request. There is an opportunity to begin sooner, and start with a 1 regular night per week and one weekend morning. Please let us know if this is of interest to you. Thank you!
