Small but busy law firm seeking an individual who can represent the firm with the highest degree of professionalism. This is a high-paced, often stressful position that requires a detail oriented, level headed, experienced individual, capable of working independently and as part of a team.

Candidate must have excellent writing and verbal communications skills, proven administrative or customer service experience in a professional office setting, be detailed oriented and can multi-task. Most importantly we are seeking a compassionate and empathetic individual who is able to remain understanding of our client's needs and stresses.

A qualified and enthusiastic candidate will answer phones and emails, scan documents and send out mail and documents to clients and professional contacts. Other job duties include greeting clients and visitors when they arrive at the office, entering information into our database, organizing files, and making copies. We prefer candidates who have some experience in an administrative role, but are willing to train the right person.

Receptionist Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Answer phone inquiries and provide basic company information
  • Perform clerical duties, maintain files, and organize documents
  • Monitor front desk
  • Oversee mail deliveries, packages, and couriers
  • scanning and electronically sending mail, documents and other information to clients, and professionals
  • scheduling meetings and coordinating appointments
  • running errands / making hand deliveries

Receptionist Job Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior administrative or clerical experience preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Highly organized multitasker who works well in a fast-paced environment
  • Compassionate, patient and understanding approach to responding to client inquiries.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
