Golf Course Setup

Heather Ridge Golf Club in Aurora, Colorado, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Golf Course Setup staff member. This role is essential in ensuring that the golf course is prepared for daily play, providing an exceptional experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the game of golf and landscape maintenance, with a strong understanding of the rules of golf. Golf privileges are available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the golf course for daily operations by setting up tee boxes, greens, and fairways.
• Change pin locations on greens.
• Fill divots on tee boxes, pick up broken tees, and place tee markers.
• Occasionally roll greens.
• Conduct regular inspections of the grounds to identify areas needing maintenance or repair.
• Communicate with golf course superintendent on pin locations, tournament play, etc...
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Follow safety protocols while operating equipment and handling materials.
• This position will be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday mornings.
• Shift starts at 6:00am and ends around 10:30am. Full time employment can be available for the right candidate.

Requirements

• Previous experience in golf course or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required. The right candidate can be trained.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in lawn care and landscaping.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, BENDING, and standing for extended periods.
• A willingness to learn new skills related to golf course maintenance and operations.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
