About the Practice :
The physicians of Heaton Eye Associates have been serving East Texas’ vision needs for over 40 years. We offer state-of-the-art technology with special services ranging from primary eye care to world-class laser surgery. Our physicians were the first to offer LASIK laser vision correction in East Texas and have performed tens of thousands of procedures since its inception. Heaton Eye offers a wide range of premium lenses including Symfony Extended Depth of Focus lenses, PanOptix® lenses, and Vivity® lenses to offer freedom from glasses and contacts after cataract surgery. Our surgeons were the first in East Texas to offer the RxSight Light Adjustable Lens, the only lens implant that allows patients to preview and adjust their vision after cataract surgery. We are the first and only practice in the area offering EVO ICL, another exciting option offering patients freedom from contacts and glasses. Job Summary and Responsibilities :
Responsible for creating relationships and growing local doctor referrals and physician relations, maintaining long-term partnerships with physicians, urgent care facilities, medical specialty groups and other clinical groups to increase referrals and gain market share. The Physician Liaisons and Business Development Representatives work together to implement sales and marketing strategies that ultimately drive volume through measurable relationships.
Certifications / Licensures :
None required
Experience :
Preferred 3 years of business development experience
Preferred 3 years experience with proven record of pharmaceutical, physician or medical sales
3 years experience with healthcare marketing
Education :
Preferred Bachelor's Degree
Primary Job Duties and Accountabilities :
- Develops long-term referral relationships while achieving the highest level of customer service and satisfaction
- Maintains relationships with physicians, and key influencers to drive patient volume, enhance customer loyalty and exceed client satisfaction
- Works closely with the Business Development Team to discuss marketing activities, identify new business, potential problems, and new opportunities
- Assists in the delivery and presentation of speciality marketing materials to address prospective clinical partnership needs
- Communicates opportunities to the Director of Business Development and Physician Relations to assist in the development of strategic objectives to improve volume
- Conducts marketing and sales calls with physician and clinical staff as appropriate to secure business
- Assists in establishing targets, and implementing sales and marketing plans to meet such targets
- Acts as a liaison between physicians, clinicians and Heaton Eye Associates employees to resolve problems, provide and obtain information, and maintain positive working relationships
- Maintains an awareness of competitive activity within the market and update information as needed
