Calling all spicy food fanatics! Team HEAT is looking for a creative and driven Influencer and Social Media Marketing Manager to join our team and lead our efforts in influencer partnerships and organic social media to amplify our brand presence.
Job Overview
As the Senior Manager of Influencer and Social Media Marketing, you will oversee both influencer marketing and organic social media strategies to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversion. You’ll play a key role in managing relationships with influencers, creating compelling social media content, and analyzing campaign performance to continually refine our strategies.
Key ResponsibilitiesInfluencer Marketing
- Strategy Development:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive influencer marketing strategy aligned with overall brand goals and marketing objectives.
- Identify emerging trends, platforms, and influencers in the industry to stay ahead of the curve.
- Influencer Relationship Management:
- Research, identify, and establish relationships with influencers across various platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, YouTube).
- Negotiate contracts and deliverables, ensuring mutual value and alignment with brand identity.
- Build and maintain long-term partnerships with key influencers.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and disclosure requirements for influencer partnerships.
- Campaign Management:
- Plan, execute, and oversee influencer marketing campaigns from concept to completion.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align influencer content with overall marketing campaigns and messaging.
- Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and budgets for campaigns.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in influencer marketing, incorporating new ideas and approaches into campaigns as appropriate.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting:
- Set KPIs and measure the success of influencer campaigns using analytics tools.
- Provide regular reports on campaign performance, ROI, and insights for improvement.
- Conduct competitive analysis and benchmark against industry standards.
Organic Social Media Management
- Content Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement a data-driven organic social media strategy for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook.
- Create and manage a content calendar based on the overall marketing calendar, ensuring a consistent and engaging posting schedule, in coordination with the Marketing Director.
- Content Creation & Execution:
- Plan and project manage creation of compelling content (e.g., posts, stories, videos, and graphics) that aligns with brand voice and resonates with target audiences.
- Collaborate with design and content teams to deliver high-quality visuals and copy.
- Build and maintain a library of UGC and creator content.
- Community Engagement:
- Actively monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions to foster community engagement and loyalty.
- Maintain community management guidelines, coordinating with customer service teams to ensure hot sauce lovers have a positive CX.
- Build relationships with followers and identify opportunities to amplify user-generated content.
- Performance Analysis:
- Track and analyze social media metrics to assess the effectiveness of content and campaigns.
- Prepare monthly reports with actionable insights to inform future strategies.
- Trend Spotting:
- Stay updated on social media trends, platform updates, and best practices to incorporate into the strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- 4 years of experience in influencer marketing, social media management, or a related role
- Proven track record of managing successful influencer campaigns and growing social media channels organically
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and analytics
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social) and influencer/affiliate marketing platforms (e.g., AspireIQ, Traackr, Impact, Grin, Superfiliate)
- Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and community building
- Superb organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of FTC guidelines and other compliance regulations related to influencer marketing
- Proven track record of successful influencer and/or social media campaigns
- Experience with budgeting and negotiating influencer contracts
- Extensive knowledge of major social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, etc, and ability to quickly create content in platform if needed
- Based in the greater NYC area is a plus
