This role is office / hybrid with a base location in Louisville, KY.
What the Role Is
The Associate Brand Manager will participate in all aspects of brand management for the Elijah Craig portfolio. The primary focus of the position will be marketing plan development and execution involving brand positioning, advertising, public relations, sports sponsorships, point of sale, innovation, and packaging. This role also includes significant analysis of sales and industry data, as well as budgeting and budget tracking. Directly reports to a Senior Brand Manager as part of a larger marketing brand team.
How You Will Spend Your Time?
- Gain a full understanding of Elijah Craig product portfolio and the role it plays within the broader company portfolio
- Assists in brand planning and development by utilizing and analyzing consumer insights and sales data to determine strategic direction and marketing initiatives, both domestically and globally
- Develops and manages brand budgets for promotional activity
- Manages external and internal creative agencies in the development of advertising campaigns, promotional activity and point-of-sale items
- Participates in and manages new product / new package development process including leading agency on packaging design, working with production to source packaging elements and determine production plan
- Leads the management and execution of digital media programs for the brand portfolio including content production as well as tracking and reporting
- Management and execution of major sports sponsorships and special events
- Develops knowledge and understanding of profit structures and brand profitability including local market brand contribution as it relates to sales and marketing budgets and programming.
- Work closely with sales organization stakeholders on both a national and local level to ensure successful execution of programs as well as to solicit feedback
