Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and care to individuals in need. Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Support clients with meal preparation, feeding, and medication reminders as per care plans.
- Engage clients in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
- Monitor and document changes in clients' health status and report any concerns to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to resident rights and dignity at all times.
- Collaborate with family members and other healthcare providers to develop and implement effective care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a trusting relationship.
Requirements
- Previous experience in patient care, home care, or assisted living settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of dementia care practices is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with resident rights and the importance of maintaining client confidentiality.
- Ability to assist with social work tasks as needed, promoting client engagement in community activities.
- Certification in First Aid or CPR is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, families, and team members.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others live fulfilling lives.
- Ability to follow care plans accurately while being attentive to the unique needs of each client.
