Caregiver

Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and care to individuals in need. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, empathy, and a willingness to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist clients with mobility and transfers to ensure their safety and comfort.
• Support clients with meal preparation, feeding, and medication reminders as per care plans.
• Engage clients in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
• Monitor and document changes in clients' health status and report any concerns to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to resident rights and dignity at all times.
• Collaborate with family members and other healthcare providers to develop and implement effective care plans tailored to individual needs.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a trusting relationship.

Requirements

• Previous experience in patient care, home care, or assisted living settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of dementia care practices is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with resident rights and the importance of maintaining client confidentiality.
• Ability to assist with social work tasks as needed, promoting client engagement in community activities.
• Certification in First Aid or CPR is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, families, and team members.
• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others live fulfilling lives.
• Ability to follow care plans accurately while being attentive to the unique needs of each client.

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
