Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to a PRN client in Perryville MD. This position is for three weeks. The position needs to start ASAP. As early as tomorrow! The agency is looking for caregivers who is willing to work a 8am-8pm shift for the next three weeks. The starting pay for this position would be 19-20 dollars per hour. Caregivers will be paid weekly.

Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being.
- Monitor and document client behavior and progress, ensuring accurate patient observation.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Support clients in participating in social and recreational activities to promote engagement.
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect client confidentiality and privacy.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement individualized care plans effectively.
- Assist with medication reminders as directed by healthcare providers.
Skills
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Strong background in patient care, particularly in nursing home settings or direct support roles.
- Excellent observational skills to recognize changes in client behavior or health status.
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the caregiving environment.
- Compassionate nature with a strong desire to assist others in need.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Effective communication skills to interact positively with clients, families, and team members.
