Childcare and Educational Support Professional

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children in their care. This role involves engaging with children in educational activities, ensuring their well-being, and fostering their development through play and structured learning.

Duties

• Supervise and monitor the safety of children in your care at all times.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development.
• Provide support for children with special needs or disabilities, adapting activities to meet individual requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment, including classroom management and hygiene practices.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
• Assist with infant care, including feeding, diaper changes, and comforting as needed.
• Foster positive relationships with children to encourage social skills and emotional growth.

Skills

• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
• Experience working with children in daycare or classroom settings.
• Strong understanding of childhood development stages and needs.
• Ability to manage a classroom effectively while maintaining a positive atmosphere.
• Experience in nannying or providing childcare for infants and toddlers is preferred.
• Familiarity with special education techniques for working with children with disabilities is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with both children and parents.

Pay: $12.00 - $12.50 per hour
