Heavenly Angels Learning Place (Phillipsburg) is currently seeking an Early Childhood Head Teacher to nurture developing children's minds and provide the best child care experience to children and families in the community. We are seeking an individual who is passionate to work with young children, energetic, organized, and possesses great communication skills. Valid Candidates must meet the Head Teacher requirements as per the NJ Child Care Office of Licensing, listed below. This position includes working as an early childhood teacher, with supervisory duties.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing the facilities programs and procedures.
- Guide & monitor all staff, students, programs and procedures to ensure correct compliance with all state and company policies.
- Develop required curriculums and support lesson plans and academics
- Assist in the selection, training & monitoring of Staff
- Manage and execute professional training programs for Staff
- Promote the center & programs within the community, conduct tours, registrations & enrollments
- Work professionally with parents, staff & the management
- Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for all children, parents, and staff
- Maintain school licensing & compliance required by the NJDCF
- Perform any other task required for center’s operations assigns by the management
- Teach as needed in any age group
- Work with the Director and Owners in all aspect of the business operations.

- Able to go through required clearances for state of NJ
- Leadership & Management Experience of managing teams
- Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
- Familiarity with State licensing requirements

- Quick learner and Open availability of center’s operational hours of 6.30 am - 6.00 pm
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.50 - $16.00 per hour
