We are looking for experienced Appliance Repair Technicians with a specialization in sealed system repairs.
**Qualifications**
- 2 years of experience as a full-line appliance repair technician (refrigeration, cooking, cleaning, and laundry)
- Expertise in sealed system repairs and refrigerant handling preferred
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills and experience using diagnostic test equipment
- Valid driver’s license in good standing
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally maneuver up to 125 lbs
- Basic computer skills and comfort working with tablets/iPads for service documentation
- Willingness to undergo a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check, and driver’s license check
- EPA certification (or willingness to obtain one)
**Responsibilities:**
- Travel to customer locations to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential appliances, including sealed systems, refrigerators, cooking appliances, and more
- Perform accurate troubleshooting and diagnosis using advanced tools and techniques
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through professional communication and quality repairs
- Utilize company-issued diagnostic tools, equipment, and safety gear properly
- Pre-screen upcoming service calls to better prepare for each repair
- Document repair findings and process transactions electronically using a company-provided tablet
- Maintain company service metrics, such as first-time fix rate and customer satisfaction
- Follow safety guidelines and best practices while handling appliances and refrigerants
