Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide meal preparation.
- Support clients in mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Assist with medication reminders and management as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Engage clients in social activities and companionship to promote emotional well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Uphold resident rights by respecting privacy and confidentiality at all times.
- Document client progress and report any changes in condition to the appropriate personnel.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop personalized care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Transportion to Dr.appt or running errands as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in home care, group home settings, or senior care is preferred.
- Knowledge of clints rights and the ability to advocate for clients effectively.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and Alzhemier and Dementia is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others live fulfilling lives.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving.
- Reliable transportation may be required depending on client locations.
