Heavenly Hands, Inc. is looking for a Qualified Development Disability Professional (QDDP) who can supervisor a team of about 40 staff that work independently. The candidate should possess a blend of strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. The candidate will need to effectively convey expectations, provide constructive feedback to their staff, and foster a collaborative environment with their peers and leadership. Time management, prioritizing tasks and ensuring deadlines are met while balancing workloads is essential. Candidate should display:

GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
The QDDP position will maintain the confidentiality and security of records; be a part of the on-call management rotation. Other duties to include but not limited to staff scheduling, perform yearly evaluations for staff, responding to call outs, staffs’ notes reviews, staff and individuals’ file review including admission and discharge of individuals, assist with onboarding of new staff, training for staff, be comfortable delivering unfavorable conversations and disciplinary actions, communicate with and support our business partners as needed and addressing concerns and incidents from staff and individuals (clients) should they occur. Other duties as assigned.
The QDDP Shall:
Ensure adherence to State licensure, human rights, and Department of Labor regulations and standards.
Work with business partners to direct and oversee processes to determine individual’s (clients) support needs are executed timely and efficiently to completion.
Have strong written, oral and interpersonal communication with staff, individuals, families, business partners and other professionals.
Maintain professional ethical standards.
Strong analytical skills.
Manage staff’s support needs in the designated timeframe.
Prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in the human services field.
PREFFERED:
Work experience with individuals who have a developmental disability diagnosis and at least one year of supervisory experience.
Knowledge and developing of writing Individual Support Plan/Part V and submitting into WaMS (Virginia Waiver Management System) for approval.
Knowledge of DBHDS (Department of Behavioral Health & Developmental Services) and Human Rights Licensure Policy and Procedures
