Barista

We are thrilled to announce the opening of our new Coffee Cart at Pacific 19, Kailua-Kona! Our coffee cart will feature the same high-quality coffee beans grown and harvested on our award-winning farm in Holualoa. We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate individuals to join our team as Baristas to deliver an exceptional coffee experience to our customers.

Position Overview:

As a Barista at our Coffee Cart, you will be the face of Heavenly Hawaiian’s newest venture, responsible for preparing and serving our freshly brewed, hand-crafted coffee. Your goal will be to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for customers while delivering the best possible coffee and service experience. Duties and responsibilities include:

• Preparing and serving a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso, pour-overs, and cold brew, using locally sourced beans.
• Offering recommendations to customers based on their preferences and answering questions about our coffee and farm practices.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, ensuring the coffee cart is well-stocked and operational.
• Processing transactions accurately and efficiently while providing friendly and attentive service.
• Promoting our farm tours, coffee club, and other products to interested customers.
• Upholding high standards of food safety and cleanliness in compliance with health regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Passion for coffee and familiarity with espresso machines and brewing techniques.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Previous barista or coffee shop experience is preferred but not required (training will be provided).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Knowledge of Hawaiian coffee, especially Kona coffee, is a plus.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
