Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting independence. This role is vital in delivering high-quality patient care, particularly for those requiring long-term care, hospice care, or assistance in assisted living environments.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care services, including assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers, including lifting when necessary.
- Monitor and document clients' health status and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Support clients with medication reminders and adherence to prescribed treatment plans.
- Foster a positive relationship with clients while respecting their privacy and dignity in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being and companionship.
Requirements
- Previous experience in patient care or home health preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to home health and long-term care settings.
- Knowledge of hospice care practices is a plus.
- Ability to assist clients with physical tasks, including lifting as needed.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others maintain their quality of life.
- Certification as a Home Health Aide or equivalent training is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
