Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented member to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties, including industrial cleaning and facilities maintenance, while demonstrating a commitment to high standards of cleanliness. Schedule would be Mon-Fri 5p-9p.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by restocking supplies and sanitizing surfaces.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and stripping as needed.
- Carry out industrial cleaning tasks in compliance with safety regulations.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Collaborate with team members to meet the cleaning needs of the facility effectively.
Requirements
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques is desirable.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
