What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Support Professional position at Heavenly Manor LLC?
A Direct Support Professional, or Direct Support Care Professional, cares for individuals experiencing developmental or intellectual disabilities or illnesses. Their main duties include helping individuals with all daily outcomes assigned based on the individuals ISP. Complete basic housekeeping tasks, transporting Individuals to social outings, aiding with hygiene task/toileting, and keeping patients safe from potential health hazards in their surrounding environment during their time at their day program. All DSP's are responsible for upholding and respecting the individuals rights under the HIPAA laws, guidelines, and regulations while aiding the individuals in their daily activities here at Visions.
**One weekend a month is required**
Shifts that are requiring immediate hire with a $500 incentive:
3-11pm (Mon-Fri)
11p-7a (Fri-Sun)
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1 Professional & 1 Personal Resume
Required Experience
- At least 6 months - 1 Year of initial DSP or health care experience
- Certified in Medication Administration
- Behavioral Training (TOVA)
- CPR/First Aide Training
- Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA) Training
