Responsibilities :

On-Site Expertise : Conduct comprehensive on-site diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of diesel engines, transmissions, and other critical vehicle components.
Preventative Maintenance : Perform scheduled maintenance services, including oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, and more, to ensure optimal vehicle performance and longevity.
Troubleshooting & Repair : Diagnose and repair complex electrical and hydraulic systems with precision and efficiency.
Safety First : Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential safety hazards and ensure the safe and efficient operation of all equipment.
Client Communication : Communicate effectively with clients, explaining necessary repairs in a clear and concise manner.
Documentation & Reporting : Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed, including parts used, labor hours, and any other relevant information.
Adherence to Standards : Follow all safety protocols and regulations while working on-site, ensuring a safe and productive work environment.

Requirements :

Proven Experience : Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a diesel mechanic with a strong background in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and related components.

Technical Proficiency : In-depth knowledge of diesel engine systems, including but not limited to : fuel systems, emissions systems, electrical systems, and more.

Strong Work Ethic : Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Problem-Solving Skills : Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.

Safety-Conscious : Ability to work safely in various outdoor conditions and lift heavy equipment as needed.

Valid Driver's License : Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Relocation : Willingness to relocate to Baton Rouge, Louisiana before starting work.
