What are the responsibilities and job description for the Skilled Laborer position at Heavy Duty Rentals?
OVERVIEW
We are seeking a hands-on, motivated Skilled Laborer to assist with various phases of home construction. This role is ideal for someone experienced with framing, drywall, stucco prep, minor concrete work, or similar trades. You’ll work closely with site supervisors and tradesmen to ensure timely and quality construction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support in framing, installing windows/doors, stucco prep, and other construction tasks.
- Load/unload materials and assist with site cleanup and organization.
- Operate small tools and equipment (e.g., saws, drills, jackhammers) as required.
- Help prepare homes for inspections and coordinate with subcontractors when needed.
- Follow directions from the Construction Supervisor and maintain safe work habits.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1 years of residential construction or skilled labor experience.
- Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and basic construction techniques.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, bend, stand, and work in hot/humid environments.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and team attitude.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
English, Spanish and Portuguese speakers are welcome for this job.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
