Bookkeeper/Accounts Payable Clerk
Heavy Duty Truck Repair is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper/Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and processing all weekly invoicing to customers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. This role requires strong attention to detail and proficiency in Quickbooks software to maintain efficient operations.
Duties and Responsibilities: (include but are not limited to)
· Prepare a high volume of invoices and email invoices out
· Be able to multitask
· Create and maintain paper and electronic filing system for contracts, invoices
· Complete regular accounts receivable and accounts payable duties, researching, and reconciling discrepancies, and processing transactions.
· Answer phones, sign/receive packages
· Maintain the main email correspondence for the office
· Perform administrative tasks
· Performing other duties as required.
Qualifications/Skills:
· Proficiency in QuickBooks software.
· Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
· Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
· Must be dependable, able to work independently and possess strong work ethics to accomplish tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
· Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
· Associate’s degree or higher preferred
· Three or more years of related work experience as a bookkeeper or office administrator
· Be thorough and pay attention to detail.
· The ability to work well with others.
· The ability to work well under pressure.
· Customer service skills.
· Be flexible and open to change.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
