Job Summary:
The Assistant Football Coach / Assistant Spring Sport Coach supports the development and success of student-athletes by assisting in coaching responsibilities for both the football program and a designated spring sport. This role emphasizes athletic skill development, academic achievement, and the promotion of sportsmanship.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Football Coaching:
- Assist the Head Football Coach in whatever position group assigned, developing game strategies, and mentoring student-athletes.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of training sessions, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and program objectives.
Spring Sport Coaching:- Assist in coaching responsibilities for an assigned spring sport, including organizing practices, developing competition strategies, and fostering athlete development.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and promote a positive team culture.
Qualifications:
- Valid Arkansas teaching certification.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
