Job Description
- Coordinate the identification, selection, placement, monitoring and guidance of GT students in accordance with state standards.
- Hold placement meetings to determine eligibility for G/T identification
- Notify by mail all parents of the results of the testing and placement
- Maintain records for each G/T student
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure an innovative program and innovative practices.
- Provide enrichment materials to 6-12 students
- Maintain and continuously monitor the GT budget and expenses
- Attend state G/T meetings
- Effectively communicate the District's approach to the education of GT students within the school and to the wider community.
- Work with K-5 principals to develop an efficient master scheduling for GT services.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Knowledge of data information systems, data analysis and the formulation of action plans.
- Ability to effectively communicate in both written and oral formats with students, parents, staff, and community.
- Ability to work with people of various personality types.
- Possess sound emotional judgment.
- Ability to use computer network systems and software applications as needed.
- Ability to develop, implement, and maintain vision and mission of programs.
- Ability to engage in self-evaluation with regard to leadership, performance, and professional growth.

Qualifications: Gifted and Talented Licensure in the State of Arkansas, Minimum of 5 years experience as a certified teacher

- Daily attendance and punctuality expected
