What’s the role
We are looking for a driven Culture Associate to deliver engaging, standards-based instruction, utilize Responsive Classroom techniques, and monitor student progress while collaborating with colleagues to refine teaching practices. You don’t need to speak Hebrew to apply, and we strongly encourage candidates from traditionally underrepresented groups to join our community!What you’ll do
- The school culture associate works closely with the dean of students to provide support to students and classroom teachers and is responsible for providing behavioral support to students, ensuring students are on task and that the behavior expectations established by the school culture are implemented in a consistent, caring and disciplined manner. Additionally, the school culture associate will:
- Provide classroom management support
- Provide 1:1, small group, and whole class assistance as needed to students
- Help monitor uniform compliance
- Maintain culture office hours during the day to receive students who are referred out of the classroom
- Input all behavior-related data into the Hebrew Public data system
- Report all behavior referrals to the Dean of Students
- Attend and participate in culture team meetings and professional development
- Monitor students in In-School-Suspension
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 1 to 3 years of office experience required.
- Experience working in a school office is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency with computers, Google Suite, and Microsoft applications is required.
- Demonstrated ability to fluently read, write, and speak in English
