Carpenter/Laborer

Responsibilities

• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications.
• Perform remodeling tasks such as framing, roofing, and finishing work.
• Utilize hand tools effectively for various carpentry tasks.
• Apply caulking to seal joints and seams in construction projects.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a carpenter or laborer in the construction industry.
• Familiarity with various hand tools and their proper usage.
• Ability to read blueprints accurately and follow detailed instructions.
• Experience in remodeling projects is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• The ability to be at work on time, with a willingness to learn.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
