ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
The Client Service Associate/Operations Assistant is an integral part of the Operations and Client Service team. The position is responsible for assisting all team members in all aspects of the firm with an emphasis on Operations and administrative processes. This position would also be responsible for providing support for the Compliance Officer, and Analytical Department. We are seeking a candidate that is highly motivated, takes initiative, has a positive attitude, willing to work in a fast-paced environment and willing to take on new tasks and assignments. Job functions will include, but are not limited to:
· Provides administrative support for client service team
· Assisting with administrative and operational duties in relation to client accounts, including but not limited to; money movements, data gathering & reporting, mailings, filing, scanning, copying, data entry, assistance with account reconciliation.
· Supports the Advisors by helping clients in person and on the telephone in a professional courteous manner. Shares responsibility for answering telephones, answering general questions, screening and routing calls.
· Works with portfolio management software to provide analysis, input, and maintenance of critical data. This includes creating and maintaining CRM data for clients, inputting data and notes, and running reports.
· Assists in preparation of client reports
· Misc. tasks as needed
REQUIREMENTS
· Associates degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
· Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
· Computer skills: Typing, Microsoft Office, Client Relationship Manager (CRM), and the ability to learn and adapt to changes in technology. Software specific training will be provided upon hire
· Ensures utmost confidentiality with respect to information pertaining to clients/potential clients
