Essential Job Functions
The CPA / Wealth Advisor is an integral part of the Wealth Advisory team, playing a key role in providing tax planning and financial guidance to individuals, families, and businesses. We are seeking a candidate that is highly motivated, has a positive attitude, willing to work in a fast-paced environment, and willing to grow and take on new tasks and assignments.
- Provide tax planning to clients, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations
- Collaborate with financial advisors to develop integrated financial plans that align with clients’ goals and objectives for the future
- Offer guidance on tax-efficient strategies for retirement planning, estate planning, charitable giving and tax planning for corporations.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and advise clients on potential impacts
- Support the preparation of cash flow analyses, budgeting, and forecasting for clients
- Collaborate with the advisory team to create presentations or reports for client meetings
- Provide support for firm projects, such as researching tax issues, developing new processes, or improving workflows
- Stay informed on industry trends, financial products, and economic conditions
- Identify and pursue opportunities to grow the client base through networking, referrals, and business development activities.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field.
- Certified Public Accountant designated
- Proven experience in accounting, tax planning, and financial reporting (3-5 years preferred)
- Strong understanding of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements as they relate to investments
- Proficient in financial modeling, cash flow analysis, and forecasting
- Knowledge/familiarity with markets and investments.
- Ensures confidentiality with respect to all information pertaining to clients and potential clients.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Computer skills: Microsoft Office (especially Excel), Adobe suite of products and the ability to learn and adapt to changes in technology.
- Possess a commitment to professionalism, honesty, and strong work ethic.
